Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for the day shift at the Department of Veterans Affairs. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with a 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift and every-other-weekend availability.

Compensation is $25.00 per hour with a $0.87 per hour shift differential. Duties include direct non-professional nursing care, vital signs, charting, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe environment in a clinic or hospital

Qualifications

• Two years of patient care experience.
• Current CMA Level III certification by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
• Ability to perform direct nursing tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes in patient condition.
• Escort patients to and from destinations and maintain safety.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment in care settings.
• Order, receive and stock basic supplies; perform light clerical tasks.
• Support follow-up activities and patient scheduling.
