Job summary

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS in Claremore is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for PRN night shifts at the Claremore Veterans Home. The role requires providing direct and indirect patient care under supervision, including monitoring vitals and assisting with daily living activities.

This night shift position offers a part-time schedule with hourly pay around $33 plus a small shift differential; familiarity with CMA/CNA certification and Oklahoma requirements is preferred;

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in providing patient care.
• Current CNA or CMA certification as required by Oklahoma regulations.
• Ability to perform glucose monitoring and basic nursing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes in patient condition.
• Escort patients and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage supplies and perform basic clerical tasks.
• Coordinate follow-up care and other related tasks.
