Job summary

State of Oklahoma's Claremore Veterans Home is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for the Day Shift on a PRN basis. This part-time, temporary position supports clinical care within a veterans facility, with a $33/hour rate and a $0.87 shift differential for evenings.

Responsibilities include glucose and insulin monitoring capabilities, assisting with daily living activities, charting, and providing patient care under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in providing patient care.
• Some positions may require a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and/or Class C CDL.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living and hygiene needs.
• Charts observations and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
• Escorts patients and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
• Performs follow-up activities and scheduling and other related tasks.
