650 DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS in Claremore is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for the night shift as a PRN, part-time position at the Claremore Veterans Home. The role provides direct patient care under nursing supervision, including vital signs, activities of daily living assistance, and medication support in a facility setting.

Applicants should have two years of patient-care experience and appropriate Oklahoma certifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of patient care experience.
• CNA/CMA level certifications may be required per state health dept.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene needs.
• Charts observations and communicates pertinent changes in patient condition.
• Performs delegated or other specialized functions as educationally prepared.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and handles supplies.
• Participates in follow-up activities and coordinates appointments.
