Job summary

State of Oklahoma is hiring an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for the Claremore Veterans Home. This temporary, part-time day-shift role offers $33 per hour with a shift differential of $.87 per hour for 3pm-7am, not to exceed 999 hours annually.

Responsibilities include direct nursing tasks such as vital signs and activities of daily living, charting, and ensuring a safe environment. A CMA/CNA certification is required, with two years of patient care experience expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of patient care experience required.
• Ability to perform glucose monitoring/insulin administration, gastro and respiratory care tasks as noted.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes in patient's condition.
• Escort patients to and from destinations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Order, receive and store supplies and perform basic clerical functions.
• Assist in follow-up activities and scheduling appointments.
