Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) for PRN night shift at Claremore Veterans Home. This part-time, temporary role offers $33 per hour with a $0.87 per hour shift differential and a maximum of 999 hours per year.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect nursing care, vital signs, charting, and ensuring a safe, clean environment while coordinating with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience providing patient care.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Current Oklahoma CNA Level I/II or CMA certifications per agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under supervision.
• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Chart observations and report changes to nursing staff.
• Escort patients and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Order, receive and store supplies; perform basic clerical tasks.
• Assist with follow-up activities and coordinate patient appointments.
