Job summary

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA/ACMA) for full-time night shift at the Sallisaw Veterans Home. The role includes direct nursing care, vital signs, ADL assistance, and charting under supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations.
• Provides case finding and recruitment of at risk persons for comprehensive health services.
