Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Some college preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear Criminal Records Check
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling requests

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Supportive, kind, and respectful environment maintenance
• Transportation requirement: valid driver's license and insured vehicle

Responsibilities

• Engage participants in meaningful activities to enhance quality of life.
• Complete daily documentation and progress tracking.
• Supervise participants to ensure safety and prevent harm.
• Provide informal counseling as needed.
• Teach problem solving, conflict resolution and life skills.
• Transport participants to activities and homes as needed.
• Participate in community-based outings with participants.
• Collaborate with participants on projects respecting pace and needs.
• Use participants' history and behavior plans to support goals.
• Facilitate group discussions, document engagement, and develop new projects.
