Job summary

CPMcares in Manchester, CT is seeking a Lead Staff to support the Program Coordinator and Program Manager in administering the DDS Day Program. The role requires strong understanding of DDS requirements, excellent organization, problem solving, and ability to lead a team working with developmentally disabled adults in structured settings.

You will assist daily operations, staffing, transportation, documentation, and quality assurance while ensuring safety and compliance with CPM policies and DDS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2 years related experience.
• Familiarity with DDS systems and requirements.
• Ability to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Coordinator with daily operations of day support programming.
• Complete daily staffing schedules and transportation assignments.
• Display effective communication with stakeholders as needed.
• Attend mandatory DDS meetings in compliance with guidelines.
• Provide transportation when necessary.
• Assist Direct Care Staff in daily job responsibilities.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and filed weekly.
• Track and prepare individual data monthly for QA reviews.
• Work with staff to maintain safety standards for facility and vehicles.
• Facilitate completion of documentation for individuals served daily.
• Ensure staff are trained on individuals, PCPs, BSPs and protocols.
• Track petty cash expenditures daily where applicable.
• Encourage teamwork and innovative strategies for productivity.
• Seek supervision when needed and attend meetings/events as directed.
• Respond calmly to crisis or emergencies as directed.
