Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Program Support Specialist for a day program in New York. The role focuses on proactive strategies, coaching staff, and ensuring health, safety and well-being of participants.

You will model proactive/reactive strategies and provide programmatic support at the site, collaborating with the Behavior Department and medical staff. Responsibilities include maintaining behavioral health records, updating plans, and assisting in life skills development and community integration.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.A./B.S. or associate degree in psychology or behavior management related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in behavioral support settings.
• CPR certification required; Behavior Technician Training and Medication certification required.
• Valid NYS driver's license; ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic support for site, staff and participants.
• Monitors documentation and coordinates with Behavior Department on intensive needs.
• Collaborate on supports, behavior plans and updates to staff.
• Review training on behavior plans with staff and senior leadership.
• Support crisis interventions and ensure safety and well-being.
• Maintain records of trainings and monthly meetings; assist in plan development.
