Job summary

Spread Your Wings Inc in San Jose, CA is hiring for a full-time Day Program Support staff to assist individuals in their daily living activities. You will implement individualized programs, document progress, and maintain a safe, structured environment within the Behavioral Day Program.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preferred: working with individuals with behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing abilities; patient and dependable.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support personal care, hygiene and dressing skills.
• Teach independent living and daily living tasks.
• Implement individualized programs and support strategies.
• Document activities, behaviors and observations for the team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, structured program environment.
