Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield Services is seeking a Day Porter to perform custodial duties on a M-F schedule, from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas under supervision with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – backpack style.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines.
• Vacuum rugs and spot clean daily; perform high dusting and cleaning of furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass; clean walls as needed.
• Restock bathrooms and supplies; monitor cleanliness daily.
• Report defects such as clogged urinals or burnt-out lights to supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of building trash; replace liners as specified.
• Sweep/shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
