Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services is hiring a Full-time Day Porter in San Diego, CA. You’ll keep retail centers and commercial properties clean, safe, and welcoming, with a schedule Friday through Tuesday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Weekly pay at $17.75 per hour is offered, plus benefits and employer-supported health coverage options. You’ll be on your feet outdoors, use mobile devices for timekeeping, and report maintenance needs to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English or Spanish, written and spoken.
• Regular use of a mobile device for timekeeping and review.
• Ability to provide friendly customer service.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Physically active and outdoors-friendly.
• Experience in janitorial or porter work preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills.
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
• Always use required safety equipment.
