Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the common areas of office buildings in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, assist the building Engineer, and support weekend shifts as scheduled.

This role requires strong reliability and a focus on safety and cleanliness. Typical duties include lobby glass cleaning, door polishing, elevator cab upkeep, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and floor care.

Qualifications

• Attendance/Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.
• Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions.
• Safety and Security: Observes safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions; uses equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Aspirate elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash.
• Empty exterior trash receptacles and clean restrooms twice daily.
• Sweep entrances and dust mop lobby floors.
• Report lights out to the Management Office.
• Assist building Engineer daily as directed.
