Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness and order of common areas in office buildings and other facilities. You will perform daily tasks such as spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome, vacuuming elevator cabs, and restocking or removing trash as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, floors, restrooms, and entryways, reporting safety concerns, and supporting the building engineer as required.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice daily.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby carpeted floors.
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily.
