Job summary

Harvard Maintenance in Troy, MI is seeking a Porter to maintain daily cleanliness and appearance of public and operational spaces, responding to work orders to keep the building safe and welcoming for tenants, employees, and visitors.

We have 3 shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am; candidates must be willing to work assigned hours and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Service all public and operating space throughout the building.
• Facilitate plaza and/or parking garage areas as specified.
• Keep elevator cars clean and neat.
• Preserve lobby and first impression areas.
• Uphold exterior of building.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Check and restock all restroom products.
• Police building grounds.
• Police the dock.
• Police stairwells daily, dust mop stairwells weekly and damp mop stair landings & treads monthly.
• Snow removal.
• Respond to special requests throughout the day.
