Job summary

Harvard-Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Porter for our Corpus Christi, TX location. This part-time position supports building management by handling daily maintenance tasks and responding to requests.

Evening shifts run 3pm–9pm with two weekend blocks: Fri 3:30pm–9:30pm and Sat-Sun 11am–7pm. The role focuses on keeping public areas clean, maintaining lobby impressions, patrolling the building and grounds, and supporting project-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as listed in the job summary.

Responsibilities

• Service all public and operating spaces throughout the building.
• Maintain lobby and first impression areas and preserve exterior of building.
• Police the dock, stairwells, and surrounding grounds daily.
• Keep restrooms stocked and clean; restock products as needed.
• Respond to special requests throughout the day.

Job Summary:

• The Porter is responsible for handling daily maintenance and policing of our client located in Corpus Christi, TX. The Porter will assist Building Management with all requests and projects assigned.
• These are PT positions.
• Evenings 3pm-9pm
• (2) Weekends Fri 3:30p-9:30p Sat-Sun 11am-7pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service all public and operating space throughout the building.
• Facilitate plaza and/or parking garage areas as specified.
• Keep elevator cars clean and neat.
• Preserve lobby and first impression areas.
• Uphold exterior of building.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Check and restock all restroom products.
• Police building grounds.
• Police the dock.
• Police stairwells daily, dust mop stairwells weekly and damp mop stair landings & treads monthly.
• Snow removal.
• Respond to special requests throughout the day.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels.
• Work in close proximity to others.
• Work outdoors in all changing weather condition in geographical area.
• Standing and/or walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling.
