Ethans Crossing Cleveland in Euclid, OH is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support admissions, triage calls, verify insurance, and coordinate with nursing and care teams. The role requires empathy, accuracy, and urgency during our busiest hours.

We value superb communication, multitasking ability, and calmness under pressure. A high school diploma or GED is required, with full-time hours including day shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient in EMR and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer referral lines; triage calls from families, EDs, and providers with warmth and professionalism.
• Verify insurance, gather demographics, and schedule assessments/admissions.
• Track bed board and collaborate with nursing, EVS, and security for timely room readiness.
• Maintain real-time logs, dashboards, and handoffs between shifts.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.

How You Will Make a Difference
