Services for the UnderServed is seeking an Assistant Program Director for Day Habilitation in New York. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with IDD.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the role of QIDP with individuals with IDD.
• Demonstrated knowledge of day habilitation services, OPWDD regulations, and Medicaid billing processes.
• Bi-lingual is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized person-centered plans.
• Oversee daily operations of the Day Habilitation program ensuring quality services and compliance.
• Mentor and train DSPs and staff to enhance skills and compliance.
• Support program management and emergency responsiveness during high-demand periods.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and advocate for rights and independence of persons supported.
