Job summary

High Desert PACE is seeking a Day Center Manager to lead the day center operations, ensuring the highest quality of care for our elderly participants. You will supervise staff, coordinate engagement activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate medical, social, and recreational services.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, recreational therapy, healthcare administration or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for leadership in healthcare/senior care settings.
• Strong understanding of aging-related issues, dementia care, and person-centered care principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day center operations ensuring high-quality care and services for elderly participants.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and improve operational processes for day center activities.
• Lead IDT and other participant-care meetings, ensuring follow-up is documented and tracked.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate medical, social, and recreational services.
• Hire and supervise staff including personal care attendants and engagement team.
• Monitor compliance with regulations, documentation, budgets, and quality improvement activities.
