Job summary

WelbeHealth, LLC. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide hands-on personal care to participants at our day centers. You will work with the IDT to ensure safety and comfort, including assisting with ADLs, meal service, and escorting participants to and from WelbeHealth transportation.

We offer a compensation package with base pay plus bonus, medical coverage, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, and other benefits. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to seniors.
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire; preferred at time of hire.
• Must be willing and able to drive to participant locations.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to participants (e.g., escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, lifting).
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort when needed, assisting participants with WelbeHealth transportation vehicles.
• Oversee activity on the day center floor to ensure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Maintain personal care supplies (incontinence products, grooming items).
