The Arc Mercer in EWING, NJ is seeking a Day Behavior Services Coordinator to oversee and coordinate behavior support services. The role ensures all plans are person-centered, least restrictive, and aligned with each individual's ISP, while guiding staff and maintaining high fidelity in BSP implementation.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with individuals with IDD, plus knowledge of NJ DDD regulations and strong reporting skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of NJ DDD regulations.
• Experience in writing reports is required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of behavior support services.
• Trains all Behavior Support Staff on initial and/or updated BSPs and maintains fidelity of training records.
• Ensure all behavior supports are person-centered, least restrictive, and aligned with each individual’s ISP.
• Attend weekly Behavior Team Meetings and feedback sessions with staff.
• Review behavior incident reports daily and identify trends to recommend programmatic improvements.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation (BSPs, reports, training records).
• Collaborate with program leadership, nursing staff, support coordinators, families, and guardians.
• Serve as a clinical resource to families and external stakeholders.
