Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Associate at our Sugar Land, TX location to deliver friendly customer service and support in-store operations. You will help customers find products, handle checkout duties, and promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

Responsibilities include handling trucks, stocking, planograms, and supporting Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes, with adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise.
• Comfort with POS systems and checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enrol customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.
