Job summary

Michaels in Murphy, TX is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, keep shelves stocked, and support checkout operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist customers, enroll shoppers in rewards programs, participate in truck unloads, resets, and omni-channel orders such as Buy Online Pick Up In Store. The role requires standing for long periods and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years or older per U.S. requirements.
• Ability to stand, move, and lift as part of store duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; perform cash handling
• Explain benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance
• Maintain in-stock conditions and store recovery to keep shelves well merchandised
