Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store teammate in California to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Roles include engaging customers with the Rewards program, handling omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, and cross-training in Custom Framing. Prior retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey and processes.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store.
• Perform store in stock optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with others; be a role model for the team.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
