Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate for our Queens-Woodside, NY location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience while handling cash and assisting with store duties.

You’ll engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, participate in BOPIS/SFS, and support truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store well organized and in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and move heavy boxes.
• Legal eligibility for employment in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain in-stock, merchandised store and support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
