Job summary

Michaels in BOS-BRAINTREE, MA is seeking a Store Associate to provide friendly customer service, help shoppers locate items, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions accurately, promoting the Rewards program, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Must be 16+ and able to work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires team members to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and stock availability, including returns and go backs
• Support store safety and shrink programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies while modelling a positive attitude
