Job summary

Michaels in Prosper, TX is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers find products, answer questions, and provide a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and basic store recovery tasks to keep aisles neat and in stock.

The role emphasizes customer service, knowledge of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments, and adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines. Flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Proficient in assisting customers, locating products and providing solutions
• Ability to engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back processes
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain positive behavior and represent the brand
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
