The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at our Murphy, TX store to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout experiences. Team members will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain in-stock conditions while promoting rewards programs.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and are able to stand long periods, work nights/weekends, and assist with framing sales as needed. The role emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and gather feedback.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; handle returns and go-backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and policies.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members; role-model company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
