Job summary

Yates Construction seeks a Sr. Project Manager for Datacenter projects in Jackson, GA. You will oversee all facets of data center construction, serving as the client liaison and guiding subcontractors through major technical, cost, schedule, and performance decisions onsite.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years of commercial construction management and proven datacenter experience. Proficiency in BIM, Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project is required. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ previous commercial construction management experience is required.
• Multiple medium to large datacenter project experience ($100M+) is required.
• Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or other related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture for the project.
• Control costs and maintain profitability for the project(s).
• Manage field construction activity, engineering, and other project support activities.
• Develop project schedules and monitor production for timely completion.
• Review cost reports and analyze to reduce costs and maintain productivity.
• Determine project labor requirements and review with management.
• Conduct regular project inspections and address safety issues.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to keep work within scope and specifications.
• Administer project policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with architects, inspectors, and owner representatives to resolve issues.
• Conduct safety meetings and support supervision in safety improvements.
• Monitor project adherence to company and regulatory procedures; oversee purchasing for quality and timely delivery.
• Lead regular progress meetings with supervision to plan future activity.
• Assess equipment needs and ensure proper maintenance.
• Oversee Quality Control.
