Job summary

Renesas Electronics in California, San Jose, seeks a seasoned Customer Technical Lead for the Performance Computing Power division to shape datacenter power solutions for AI customers. You will define roadmaps, engage with cross-functional teams, and drive proposals from concept to revenue, leveraging deep power engineering and executive communication to deliver market-leading density and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Understanding of general power architecture and CPU/high-current ASICs.
• Experience with multiphase VRs or datacenter power products.
• Knowledge of magnetics design, passive component selection, power device drivers, and real-world implementation.
• Experience with embedded SoCs cross-functional HW/FW/SW teams.
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills.
• Experience with SIMPLIS modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer systems engineers to understand challenges and value drivers.
• Analyze VR approaches for fit from a customer perspective.
• Build collateral to evangelize proposals and support engagement.
• Prepare executive summary materials for Sr Leaders and customers.
• Support top-tier customer engagements to drive proposals to revenue.
• Maintain key customer relationships for early market visibility.
• Collaborate with Renesas teams to meet customer needs.
• Support design, FW, and SW teams during execution with clarifications.
