Cadence Design Systems is seeking an experienced Datacenter Operations Manager to lead 24x7 operations across enterprise and colocation data center environments. You will ensure availability, reliability, and operational integrity of mission-critical IT infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network systems, with a strong focus on SLA adherence.

The role requires hands-on Linux/Unix experience and the ability to manage deployments while maintaining uptime and incident response

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 10-15+ years of IT data center operations experience.
• Strong hands-on Linux/Unix production experience.
• Solid understanding of data center networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of enterprise and colocation data centers to support business-critical applications.
• Ensure 99.99%+ availability of IT infrastructure through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Escalation point for operational incidents with RCA and corrective actions.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize disruption.
• Oversee rack & stack, cabling, power installations, and onboarding of IT equipment.
• Coordinate high-density deployments and system upgrades while maintaining production stability.
