Job summary

Hitachi is seeking a highly skilled Databricks Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms using Databricks. The role combines strong data engineering and cloud experience with architectural leadership and stakeholder engagement.

You will drive end-to-end architecture, define data models and governance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Databricks expertise with clusters, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog.
• Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL for large-scale data solutions.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong communication and Agile team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures using Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time streaming solutions.
• Define data models, storage strategies, and governance aligned with enterprise standards.
• Provide guidance on cluster configuration, performance optimization, and cost management.
• Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor engineers.
