Job summary

Lumenalta (formerly Clevertech) seeks a Databricks Data Architect/Data Engineer to lead architecture and governance for a large-scale lakehouse on AWS GovCloud. You will own Unity Catalog governance, data policy translation for regulated data, and drive the end-to-end engineering effort with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, or related roles with Databricks on AWS.
• Proven Unity Catalog expertise with row filters, masks, and ABAC.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements (CUI/ITAR) into data policy.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Lakehouse Federation, Delta Sharing, and Databricks Workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery across data, security, and business teams; document data movement and platform architecture.
• Design target-state Lakehouse architecture and governance blueprint; present to security reviewers.
• Own Unity Catalog governance including metastore topology, filters, masks, and ABAC.
• Lead build on AWS GovCloud; set technical direction and unblock ingestion engineer.
