Job summary

Theoris is seeking a Lead Databricks Architect to drive architecture, governance, and modernization of an enterprise Databricks platform on AWS. The role requires leading multiple enterprise-scale implementations and migrating AWS data lakes to a unified Lakehouse.

Responsibilities include designing config-driven pipelines, advancing Lakeflow pipelines, and establishing platform standards across workspaces, with emphasis on security, compliance, and scalable engineering practices in a regulated

Qualifications

Extensive Databricks architecture experience in AWS environments.
Proven experience leading multiple enterprise Databricks implementations.
Experience architecting Databricks environments containing multiple workspaces.
Direct experience leading AWS Glue-to-Databricks migrations.
Experience migrating PostgreSQL workloads into Databricks.

Responsibilities

Design and lead metadata-driven ingestion pipelines on Databricks on AWS with Unity Catalog.
Develop and maintain Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines and CDC patterns.
Guide migration strategies and governance across multiple Databricks workspaces.
Create platform accelerators, reference architectures, and deployment patterns.
