Job summary

RevStar Consulting Inc is hiring a Databricks Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work remotely across the US. You will lead design, implementation, and migration of data and GenAI workloads on the Databricks Lakehouse platform, collaborating with executives and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

This role emphasizes hands-on architecture, customer-facing delivery, and advancement of the Databricks stack, including MLOps, model fine-tuning, and modern data pipelines across AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Solutions Architecture.
• 3+ years of deep technical experience within the Databricks Ecosystem (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Spark/PySpark, Databricks Workflows/Jobs, Mosaic AI).
• Generative AI / ML: Designing and deploying RAG pipelines, model fine-tuning, vector databases, end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Cloud Architecture: Cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred—S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, etc.).
• Data Migration: Migrating enterprise legacy data warehouses/lakes onto Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Solution Architecture & Engineering: design, build, deploy data pipelines and GenAI apps on Databricks; use Spark and cloud ecosystems.
• Enterprise Customer Delivery: lead technical engagements with C-level stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Databricks Migration & Estate Modernization: migrate legacy platforms to Databricks Lakehouse.
• Databricks GenAI & Advanced Analytics: guide customers in GenAI adoption, RAG, fine-tuning, MLflow integrations.
• Drive Platform Adoption & Growth: identify new use cases and expand Databricks usage across client units.
• Technical Mentorship & Practice Building: mentor juniors, contribute to internal libraries and best practices.
