Job summary

Deloitte's Core AI & Data practice is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer II to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines that enable large-scale analytics and AI. You will work with business and technology teams to modernize data environments and deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

A successful candidate will apply Python, Spark, SQL, and Databricks skills to support data ingestion, transformation, and governance across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of data engineering or data platform experience.
• 2+ years building data pipelines in Databricks with Spark, Python, SQL.
• Experience with cloud data processing workflows and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Modernize enterprise data platforms with cloud-based ingestion, transformation, and storage patterns.
• Develop batch and streaming data workflows supporting analytics and AI use cases.
• Apply data architecture, modeling, and integration best practices.
• Collaborate with client and Deloitte teams to deliver large-scale data transformations.
