Job summary

Deloitte's Core AI & Data practice is hiring a Databricks Data Engineer II to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Python and SQL. Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering, ETL, or data platform experience.
• 2+ years building data pipelines in Databricks with Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with data models, integration patterns, and cloud-based workflows.
• Willingness to travel ~50%, and ability to work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Modernize enterprise data platforms with cloud-based ingestion, transformation, and storage patterns.
• Develop batch and streaming data workflows for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Apply data architecture and modeling to improve quality, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with client and Deloitte teams to troubleshoot issues and support large-scale transformations.
