Job summary

The Florida Baptist Convention is seeking a Data and Technology Manager to own the church management platform, keep records accurate, and build dashboards for ministry leadership across the state.

You will collaborate with the contracted tech partner, oversee performance and budgets, guide responsible AI adoption, and respond to outages. The role translates ministry needs into usable systems for staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in technology or data systems, including hands-on platform administration.
• Hands-on CRM or church management system experience, including data entry and record maintenance.
• Comfort working within a managed-services model, setting strategy while vendors handle infrastructure.
• Active member in good standing of a Southern Baptist church; denominational work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain church management platform, keeping records accurate and current.
• Build reports and dashboards to help ministry leaders make decisions.
• Manage the Annual Church Profile process, including data entry and verification.
• Partner with contracted technology support, overseeing performance and budgets.
• Guide responsible AI adoption and lead responses to outages or data incidents.
• Translate ministry needs into working systems, and train staff to use tools.
