Job summary

The Diocese of Palm Beach Pastoral Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL seeks a Senior Director of Technology & Information Systems to lead technology strategy, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital services across diocesan offices, parishes, schools, and ministries.

This executive role focuses on modernization, governance, and transformative programs, with a hybrid work arrangement and a commitment to responsible stewardship of resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in technology and digital transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and organizational change.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, data governance, and cloud ops.
• Experience in nonprofit/faith-based or multi-site organizations preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and modern collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year tech and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead modernization across diocesan offices, parishes, schools, and ministries.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management strategy.
• Establish governance standards, policies, and best practices.
• Guide technology investments, procurement, and portfolio planning.
• Strengthen data governance, reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
• Lead organizational change and mentor technology staff.
• Promote innovation and responsible stewardship of resources.
