Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Data to define and govern the company’s enterprise data strategy, operating model, platforms, and data product ecosystem. You will lead the data organization and partner with executives across Technology, Product, AI, Security, and Compliance to drive data-driven decision-making and business transformation.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Analytics or related disciplines.
10+ years leading large, enterprise-scale data organizations.
Experience developing enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, and operating models.
Experience with data modernization, transformation, or digital initiatives.
Strong executive presence with ability to influence enterprise decisions.

Responsibilities

Define and execute Fortrea's enterprise data strategy and multi-year data roadmap aligned with business and technology objectives.
Lead governance, data platforms, data quality, master data management, and metadata management.
Establish enterprise-wide data standards, ownership models, and governance practices.
Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, and Information Security.
Monitor industry trends and sponsor strategic initiatives to advance data maturity.
Partner with AI, Product Management and Security for enterprise data capabilities.
