Job summary

Fortrea Inc. seeks an Executive Director, Head of Data to define and govern the company’s enterprise data capabilities. You will lead a cross-functional team, establish the data operating model, and partner with Executive Leadership to enable data-driven decision making, compliance, and AI-enabled transformation.

The role requires deep experience in data governance, platforms, and leadership, with a focus on scalable, compliant data practices across a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in Data Management, Governance, Analytics, or related fields.
• 10+ years leading enterprise data organizations and capabilities.
• Experience building enterprise data strategies, governance frameworks, and operating models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Fortrea's enterprise data strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead governance, data quality, metadata, and master data management initiatives.
• Oversee data platforms, data products, and data operations across the organization.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Security to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Partner with Product Management, AI, and Architecture on roadmap alignment and investments.
• Build and develop a high-performing data organization with succession planning.
