Job summary

Fortrea seeks anSenior Architect to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT architecture across data, applications, and infrastructure. You will mentor junior architects and lead governance, MDM, and AI-enabled data initiatives to improve data quality and discoverability.

You will collaborate with data engineers, stewards, and business SMEs to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, leveraging Azure and cloud-native services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise/solution architectures with data-management focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization’s IT architecture framework aligned with business objectives and emerging technologies.
• Serve as hands-on architect for Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and AI-enabled data platforms.
• Design enterprise data architecture standards, canonical data models, metadata frameworks, and governance practices.
• Lead design and configuration of MDM solutions including data modeling, matching, survivorship, and integration patterns.
• Analyze data quality issues, define remediation strategies and business rules.
• Architect and optimize Data Catalog, metadata management, governance workflows, and stewardship processes.
• Identify and implement AI/ML and intelligent automation to enhance data quality monitoring and governance operations.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to standards across teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across data, applications, and security domains.
• Lead architectural reviews and manage risks with proactive communication.
