Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Data Steward in Florida to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets.

This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, defining data standards, validating accuracy, and supporting data governance initiatives. The Data Steward collaborates with process owners, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to keep data reliable, well-documented, and aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or master data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, or Oracle in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Validate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.
• Monitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the development, documentation, and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies.
• Document data lineage, ownership, definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Maintain metadata and ensure it remains current as systems and reporting requirements evolve.
• Assist users in understanding available data assets and business definitions.
• Maintain documentation for enterprise KPIs, metrics, and reporting calculations.
• Assist in governance reviews of critical reports and dashboards.
• Serve as a trusted resource for data-related questions and definitions.
