Job summary

Rose Brooks Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full-time Data Specialist to extract, compile, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports, supporting operations and performance monitoring.

The role ensures data accuracy and timeliness, maintains reporting standards, and supports Grants and quality improvement efforts by partnering with the COO, program directors, Development-Grants, and Finance teams. This is an in-person, individual contributor position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data collection and reporting experience.
• 2+ years of administrative, reporting, office management, or data support experience.
• Experience with databases or software systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
• Basic understanding of data quality and reporting best practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Customer service mindset and ability to respond professionally to internal requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, database systems, and other software.
• Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Extract, compile, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of data.
• Partner with leaders to develop accurate data collection and reporting processes.
• Generate reports for Grants team and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with COO, program directors, Development-Grants, and Finance teams.
• Attend scheduled staff, team, and supervision meetings.
• Participate in required trainings.
