Job summary

Arbor Homes is seeking a Data Specialist to join our Indianapolis team. The role focuses on building and maintaining data to support home construction and purchase orders, collaborating across departments on data-driven initiatives, and ensuring data accuracy for end users.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel abilities, and experience handling large data sets. Collaboration and independent work capabilities are valued, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to build/upload data sheets and matrices.
• Experience handling large datasets and data migration tasks.
• Good troubleshooting and organizational skills; clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Build data in Excel upload sheets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs utilizing blueprints (data focus).
• Create and maintain takeoff matrices in Excel.
• Collaborate on data-driven initiatives with other departments.
• Troubleshoot errors encountered by end users.
• Migrate existing data to standardized parameters.
• Assist in training new data specialists.
• Support maintenance of costs and retail data.
• Communicate changes to end users.
