Arbor Homes in Louisville, KY seeks a Design Consultant for our Design Center to guide Homebuyers through interior and exterior selections for their dream home.

Ideal candidates have prior interior design experience with a home builder and a passion for customer service. This on-site role offers opportunities to collaborate with sales, purchasing, and trades, and to stay current with design trends.

Qualifications

• Prior design related experience with a production homebuilder preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Detail oriented, self-disciplined and organized with excellent follow-up.
• Ability to deal with conflict & set expectations.
• Great listening skills and creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assisting buyers with making selections to customize their home.
• Ensure that homebuyer(s) is aware of all options available.
• Entering customer information/selections into computer systems.
• Advise customers on interior design functions (color, functionality, budget).
• Provide complete product information detailing performance, durability, and maintenance of selections.
• Assist in determining market driven standard features and options.
• Manage distribution of design center paperwork.
• Communicate with Sales, Purchasing, Homeowners and Trades as required to successfully execute the homebuilding process.
• Is knowledgeable and able to communicate the design center experience.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Assisting buyers with making selections to customize their home


• Ensure that homebuyer(s) is aware of all options available
