Arbor Homes in Indianapolis is seeking a Data Specialist to build and maintain data used to support home construction and purchase orders. You will work with multiple departments to develop data-driven solutions and ensure data quality.

The role emphasizes Excel-based data work, takeoffs from blueprints, and creating matrices, with opportunities to collaborate with leadership and grow through training and development.

Qualifications

• Strong computer, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent troubleshooting and organization skills.
• Strong aptitude for communication and collaboration.
• Experience in residential construction preferred but not required.
• Experience with Sapphire Build or other ERP system preferred.
• Ability to work independently on day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build data in Excel upload sheets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from blueprints.
• Create and maintain takeoff matrices in Excel.
• Collaborating on data driven initiatives with other departments.
• Troubleshoot errors encountered by end users.
• Migrate existing data to standardized parameters.
• Assist in training new data specialists.
• Assist in the maintenance of costs and retail.
• Communicate changes to end users.
