The Data Specialist plays a key role in supporting vendor management, tax and IRS/1099 administration, Master Data Management (MDM), and business process automation initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring vendor compliance, managing MDM-related activities, and providing exceptional customer support through regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Data Specialists contribute to innovative, customer-focused solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business productivity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective customer solutions and services.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations as an active member of a collaborative team environment.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and administration of the corporate repository for vendor tax and IRS documentation.
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly vendor compliance activities to ensure data accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) operations and data governance processes.
- Participate in departmental and enterprise-wide projects as assigned.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, platforms, technologies, and tools.
- Understanding of database integration concepts and basic SQL Server query language.
- Proficient project management and organizational skills.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a mid-sized to large organization with 100+ employees.
- Demonstrated experience working in customer-facing or stakeholder-focused roles, with the ability to effectively communicate business objectives, context, and solutions to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
- Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and actionable communications.
- Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
