Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Service Technician / Field Technician in Alexandria, LA. The role involves running low-voltage cabling, testing, and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber, plus installing MDF/IDF closets and CCTV, POS equipment, and wireless access points.

The ideal candidate will have industry certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) and be flexible for on-call, varied shifts, with excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Running low-voltage cabling, terminating, testing and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optics.
• Installing network closets, rack-mounting switches, CCTV, POS and wireless access points.
• Knowledge of industry color codes and conduit installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabling and infrastructure tasks for network deployments.
• Set up MDF/IDF closets and manage network gear.
• Maintain strong customer relations and clear communication.
